The suspect in the murder of Democratic Congresswoman Melissa Hortman of Minnesota has been arrested

On Sunday, U.S. authorities arrested Vance Boelter , a Democratic Party congresswoman from the Minnesota House of Representatives, Melissa Hortman , and her husband's alleged killer.
The arrest took place just before 22:00 (04:00 on the Spanish peninsula), near Boelter's home in Green Island, Sibley County.
Boelter, who wore a police uniform for the attack, also wounded State Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette , both of whom are recovering after surgery following the shooting.
After the attack, the suspect confronted the police with gunfire and then fled.
