UPV unions have called for stops and rallies to demand "more public investment."
The protests will take place from Monday to Thursday. On the one hand, stops have been called from 11:00 to 12:00. On the other hand, rallies will be held at 11:15, depending on the day on one campus or another.
ELA, LAB, Steilas and CGT have called for stops and rallies from Monday to Thursday in Leioa, Donostia-San Sebastián, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Bilbaoto demand "greater public investment for the UPV".
According to the LAB union in a statement, in its opinion , public investmentshould be aimed at "forming the team that the university needs, ensuring decent working conditions for workers, maintaining buildings and facilities, providing adequate services and, in general, ensuring the quality of teaching, research and management developed by the Basque public university".
For their part, the unions have called on the rectoral team to "stand firm "so that" the UPV can get the funding it needs. "
