Unemployment fell 1.04% in the ACV and rose 0.87% in Navarre between November
The number of persons affiliated with Social Security has increased in both communities (0.43 per cent in the ACV and 0.12 per cent in Navarre), with 18,805 fewer unemployed in the State (-0.77 per cent).
The unemployment rate in the Basque Country fell in November by 1,123 people (1.04%) compared to September, bringing the total number of job seekers to 106,486.
According to data published this Tuesday by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy of the Spanish Government, unemployment fell by 1,408 people compared to the same month last year, by 1.30%.
Navarra, for its part, has 253 more unemployed (0.87 per cent) than in the previous month, but 971 fewer (-3.22 per cent) than in 2024, bringing the total number of unemployed to 29,212.
In the Stateas a whole, unemployment has fallen by 18,805 persons (-0.77 per cent), to 2,424 961 unemployed throughout the State, compared to the same month in 2024, to 161,957 unemployed persons (-6.23 per cent).
Social Security Affiliation
With regard to Social Security membership, 1,036,074 members were registered in the Basque Country in November, 4404 more than in the previous month (+0.43%), according to data published this Tuesday by the Ministry of Social Integration, Social Security and Migration.
Navarra, for its part, recorded an increase of 382 persons over the previous month, an increase of 0.12 per cent, and 4,913 persons over the same month of 2024, an increase of 1.57 per cent.
