Two men arrested in Vitoria for touching a woman who managed to take refuge in a bus
On Sunday morning, the woman came running to the bus, scared and barefoot, and stated that she had been sexually assaulted by two men, possibly using some substance, and that she had been touched, without permission, in a nearby apartment, from which she had managed to escape until she had taken refuge in the bus.
The Vitoria-Gasteiz Local Police last Sunday arrested two men aged 29 and 28 in Vitoria-Gasteiz as alleged perpetrators of a sexual assault offence for touching a woman without permission, who was able to flee and take refuge in a bus, according to local police sources.
The events took place shortly before 8 a.m. on Sunday, when the driver of a city bus called the police while he was on Prado Street, where the man told the officers that shortly before a woman had come running to the bus, scared and barefoot, followed by a man.
The woman stated that she had been sexually assaulted by two men, possibly using some substance, and that she had been touched without permission in a nearby apartment, from which she managed to escape until she took refuge on the bus.
The officers managed to locate and enter the house, where they found the second man. Then they met with other people who had been in the house and confirmed the presence of the victim. After gathering all the information, the officers arrested the two men.
