The Royal Academy of the Basque Language (Euskaltzaindia) has not "liver" and has spoken several words
In the last six months, Euskaltzaindia has received in its dictionary 774 new forms (265 entries, 364 subheadings and 145 usual lexics). In addition, it has corrected or completed 1,635 forms, removed three entries and three subheadings from the vocabulary, and modified the headings of 10 entries (9 of which are language names long regulated by the Exonomastic Commission).
With this update, the dictionary now includes 52,091 forms (39,809 entries, 11,214 subheadings, 1,068 usual lexics), 70,291 meaning, 116,226 examples, and 519 proverbs, as detailed by the Academy in a note.
Every six months Euskaltzaindia renews its dictionary, and in this first update of 2025 it has completed the cooking section (farfalle, tallarin, chipirón (-) ink, cured/semi-cured/smoked cheese, Neapolitan sauce, albariño, reserve wine, junk (-)...), and added words from other areas: asperger, carbon-14, botox, meme, somnanbulu, stainless steel, noon, salt, exercise, social exclusion, reality, viral reality, liver, cuckoo.
