The Royal Academy of the Basque Language (Euskaltzaindia) has not "liver" and has spoken several words

The "light trunk", an emblem of Basque culture, has been installed in the Mercy building as part of the renovation of the Bilbao museum, which is expected to reopen its doors in 2026.

Directed by Alberto Gastesi, the EITB series combines humor, intrigue and family drama.

The 81-year-old man who researched and documented the culture of grazing in the Basque Country, was director of the Ethnography Department of Aranzadi for 45 years and received the Manuel Lekuona Prize from Eusko Ikaskuntza in 2018.

This Saturday he held an event in the fields of the Gerediaga district of Abadiño, the same place where the association began in 1965. In addition, the new president of the association, Gotzon Gomez, has taken over from Nerea Mujika after 22 years. 

Almost everything is ready at the Anoeta stadium in San Sebastian this Saturday for about 30,000 people to enjoy the concert of Fermin Muguruza. The Irundarra musician has encouraged those who hesitate to buy the few tickets still available.

This year's Big Week of San Sebastian will be held from 9 to 16 August and the poster by Mikel Antero has already been presented.

Produced by Baleuko and EITB, it is aimed at a young audience and is a thriller with fantastic elements, directed by filmmaker David R. Losada , who has also written the script with Mikel Alvarez Sarriegi, which will premiere in 2026 on the PRIMERAN platform. The new series focuses on two specific moments of time lived by a group of friends, with ten years of difference between them (2015 and 2025). Suicide bat and the trauma that has been silenced for years behind that event, a story in which the protagonist, Julen, will have to bring it all to light. In the cast we will find new young faces aurpegi, including Jon Muñoz, Aritz Kortabarria, Nekane Otxoa, Sambou Diaby, Itziar de Castro, Lier Alava ,Asier Valdestilla, Mikele Arizkorreta and Nerea Sanz. Music will be a key element, and we will be able to hear the soundsof  Belako and 2zio , among others, and theoriginal music composed by  Elena Setien, which is particularly significant.

In February last year, it became known that Wilson, who had just lost his wife Melinda, was suffering from "severe neurocognitive disorders," which forced her to be placed in the custody of two doctors appointed by her relatives.

They will make a "popular pilgrimage" from 9 to 15 June to move the restored gate at the Albaola Maritime Cultural Factory to San Miguel de Aralar, broken in October 2024 in a vandalistic attack.
