Akelarre music group to the screen
In recent months, producer Bideografik has been collecting in a documentary history of Akelarre, a music group that for 33 years (1972-2005) traveled from square to square, with the participation of EITB.
The Akelarre group emerged in the 1970s and mixed their songs with the Basque versions of rock songs in English. After playing in most of the squares of Euskal Herria and publishing 16 albums, the band stopped in 2005.
The band, which has since been a quarry of Anje Duhalde, Batiz, Aitor Amezaga, Jexuxmai Lopetegi and other great Basque musicians, has returned for two short tours, in 2009 and 2017, and will return to the screen this fall.
