PNV and EH Bildu would get the same number of seats in the Basque Parliament, according to the latest Sociometer
The latest Basque Sociometer published by the Cabinet of Sociological Prospecting of the Basque Government envisages a technical tie between the PNV and EH Bildu in the elections to the Basque Parliament.
According to the poll conducted between 17 and 20 June 2025, the PSE-EE would be the third force, with 11 representatives, and the PP would win 7 seats. Vox would get 1, while Sumar and Elkarrekin would be left out.
As forthevoting estimate , the PNV would receive the most votes, 36.1%, followed by EH Bildu with 31.3%, the PSE-EE with 13.9% and the PP with 8.9%.
The relevant data is the abstention rate , which according to the study is 40.7%, which may be decisive in the final result.
The sample of the Sociometer has been carried out through telephone interviews with 3,030 persons over the age of 18 in the three territories of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country: 730 in Álava, 1,315 in Bizkaia and 985 in Gipuzkoa.

In Álava, PNV and EH Bildu would tie with 8 seats each; PSE-EE and PP would get 4 seats; and Vox would get 1. In Bizkaia, the PNV would get 11 seats, EH Bildu would get 8, PSE-EE would get 4 and PP would get 2. in Gipuzkoa, EH Bildu would win 12 seats, EH Bildu would win 8.
