Arriaga Antzokia

The play, written by Maria Goiricelaya and adapted and directed by Fernando Bernués and Mireia Gabilondo, draws a path of civil disobedience and plunges the viewer into the 18/98 summary.

The Basque version will be released today, January 8, in the Arriaga, and the Spanish version tomorrow, January 9, on the same stage. Then the show will tour: Eibar, Zarautz, Donostia, Gasteiz, Barakaldo, Hondarribia...  

The group took to the Bilbaia theatre last night the tour of the presentation of their album "Lazturak Orbain". In addition to the new songs, the evening included other songs such as "Kontu zaharrak".  

The kalejira will begin at 5.30 p.m. from Moyua Square and will cross the Gran Vía to the Arriaga Theatre, where there will be a show, workshops and a visit to the most beloved Christmas characters in the Basque Country.

On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the early death on 17 January 2026 of composer Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, who died at the age of 19, the Bilbaia theatre bearing his name will make a double proposal.

On January 17, the orchestra directed by La Ritirata Josetxu Obregón will offer the concert Arriaga and the echo of his time , and on January 10 and 24, and on February 1, in the morning, there will be theatrical tours prepared by actors Koldo Olabarri and Ainhoa Etxebarria.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased for between 26 and 52 euros, and for tours for 15 euros. 

The theatre Arriaga takes its stage the work "La verdadera historia de Ricardo III", a work starring Joaquín Furriel.

Richard O'Brien's musical arrives in Bilbao with the same London production, in original version, overwritten in Basque and Spanish, which can be seen from 8 to 12 October.

The American actress played the show "New worlds" last night with cellist Jan Vogler, violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Pérez.

After seducing more than 800,000 people in Madrid, the musical returns to the Arriaga from 14 August to 21 September.
