It has been the last edition of Miguel Martín as director, but he will continue to work "at the service" of the San Sebastian festival. Martin highlights that in 17 paid concerts the stands have been filled, and in the rest they have been almost full. The 52 free concerts have brought together 158,700 people, while the paid ones have been 20,480.

The beach of La Zurriola has once again been the perfect setting to welcome the famous British artist Jamie Cullum. Cullum returns to San Sebastian for the fifth time with a new repertoire that mixes jazz, pop and swing styles.

For the first time at the San Sebastian Jazz Festival, they have played popular songs from different eras of the group, songs that became the hymns of different generations . Songs that reflect the love of youth, the culture of surfing  and above all optimism .

The British singer has become almost a regular of the Jazz Festival, and this is her fifth time. This will not be the only concert Jamie Cullum will offer, as he will offer a free concert on the beach of La Zurriola which, in his words, will be "a party."

The 60th edition ofthe San Sebastian Jazz Festival will offer 88 concerts, of which 51 will be free. La first performance, the Bascolombia project has threatened the park of Chillida Leku with Colombian music.

Miguel Martín has worked in 48 of the 60 jazz festivals. Anternational will be the last to lead it. Almost five decades have been for a long time and many memories have been preserved, most of them good. Thanks to it, in San Sebastian the biggest stars of the world jazz scene have been seen and heard in recent years.

From 1966, the first edition of the San Sebastian Jazz Festival, the collection exhibited in the Laboratory Hall shows 200 photographs made during the concerts of the festival between 2024. Lolo Vasco has been curated by the current photographer of the Jazz Festival.  

In Vitoria-Gasteiz, the festival that will begin next week is the Jazzaldia , in whose lobby EITB has organized an initiative to bring music closer to the citizens in the Prado Park.
