The bombing has killed 28-year-old journalist Al Sharif and three other journalists, according to Al Jazeera: journalist Mohammed Qreiquea (also from that chain), photographers Ibrahim Zaher and Mohamed Aliwa and driver Mohammed Nofal.
According to the Israeli Army, Al Sharif, who was linked to the Islamist Hamas group, has provided as evidence two documents whose origin has not been determined and which cannot be verified.
"I ask you to look after my family, and in the light of my eyes, I ask you to take care of my dear daughter Sham (...) and my dear son Salah, who have not let me see them grow up as I wanted," the young journalist wrote, referring to his two young children.
The Gaza Government has claimed that 237 informants have been killed as a result of the Israeli offensive on a list of journalists, influencers and other content creators.
"Do not forget Gaza... and do not forget me in sincere prayers for forgiveness and acceptance," the murdered journalist said in the letter.
