Who are the 20 hostages that Hamas will release alive?

The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas has confirmed the list of 20 hostages who are still alive and who will be released under the ceasefire signed with Israel.
It is the group , all male, between the ages of 20 and 48.
- Nimrod Cohen (20 years old): He was captured in a tank near the border with Gaza. A released prisoner sent a message to his family that he was okay.
- Rom Braslavski (21): he was kidnapped while working as a security guard at the Supernova music festival during a military break. His family received a first life test last March through a former hostage who was his friend. In August, Hamas released a video in which he was seen to be very thin and pale, with skin wounds, images of unfed children on a television.
- Matan Angrest (22): he worked as a soldier on 7 October 2023, the day Hamas attacked Israel, and from the burning tank he was captured (agricultural commune) in Nahal Oz kibbutz. Some of the hostages released claimed to have suffered serious injuries as a result of being chained and beaten.
- Bar Unshtein (23), who worked at the Supernova Festival, where he was captured, and whose life was tested last February and April through a released hostage and video.
Evyatar David and Guy Gilboa-Dalal (24): The two best friends were kidnapped at the Supernova Festival. They appeared in a video published by Hamas last February where they saw the release of other hostages. And on September 5, 700 days ago, Hamas released a new video in which the two friends were seen inside a car and claimed to be in Gaza.
Yosef Haim Ohana (24): captured at the same festival. He is believed to have helped other collaborators before being captured. His family said in February that he was still alive.
Alon Ohel (24): He was one of the four Supernova helpers at the shelter, where 16 other people were killed. The first proof of life came after the release of other hostages last February.
- Eitan Mor (25): He was taken hostage while serving as security guard at the Supernova festival. A friend kidnapped with him was found dead in Gaza, but a sign of life was received from More during the truce earlier this year, according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
Matan Zangauker (25): He was abducted from his home with his partner, released in November 2023, at his home in Nir Oz. His mother was expelled from the Israeli Parliament when he requested his release. Last June, Hamas issued a statement stating that the Israeli Army would be responsible for his death if he tried to free him, after seeing that the troops had surrounded the place where he was detained.
The twins Gali and Ziv Berman (27) : Kfar Aza was abducted in the kibbutz; according to the authorities, they are being held separately.

- Brothers Ariel (28) and David Cunio (35): the first was captured with his girlfriend at Nir Oz Kibbutz, and the second at home with his wife, his twin daughters, his sister-in-law and his daughters.

- Elkana Bohbot (36): filmed while kidnapped at the Supernova music festival and beaten before being taken to Gaza. In May she appeared alive with Yosef-Haim Ohana in a very weak Hamas video.
Maxim Herkin (37): captured in Supernova. He returned a week before 7 October from visiting his hometown, Ukraine. He was born in the Donbas region and has a daughter living in Russia.
- Eitan Horn (38), kidnapped while visiting his older brother, appeared in a video of the Islamist group begging for an end to the war while his brother was taken away for release in February.
- Omri Miran (48): the oldest of the hostages believed to be still alive. He was captured in his vehicle in the presence of his wife and children. The family collected evidence of life in two videos published by Hamas, in April 2024 and April 2025, along with another signal made last February.
