According to sources from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence's Directorate-General for Intelligence (GUR), several helicopters have entered the Pokrovsk areas that the Russians have claimed to have captured.
Sources have said that the head of the GUR, Kirilo Budanov, is on the front line overseeing the operation, although they have not specified exactly when the operation began or what action he has taken.
