"The Life of a Showgirl" combines exciting pop, theater and a review of its nearly two decades on stage.

The filmmaker and playwright's first feature film tells the story of two sisters facing sexual assault between their children.

José Luis Rebordinos, director of the festival, has been pleased to announce that the films have been applauded as never before.

Alauda Ruiz de Azua and her film "Los Domingos" have won the Golden Shell of the 73rd edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival. The director has declared that he is living "a dream" but that we will still have to wait to see how the audience picks up the film in the halls.

The Basque actress has won the award for the best performance of the San Sebastian Film Festival for her rolein the film Maspalomas , Ex aequo, along with the Chinese Zhao Xiaohong (Her heart beats in its cage).
