Basque performing arts leave Gayar empty-handed
The Spanish General Society of Authors and Publishers last night awarded the Max Performing Arts Awards in Pamplona. The discipline of dance has gained absolute prominence on the night of the Spanish State's Monumental Arts: the show of the National Ballet Afanador has won five awards, and the contemporary dance show Natural order of things has won three more.
The Max Prize of Honor for Fans or Society has been awarded to Ignacio Aranguren and Vicente Galbet, as announced, for their career as theatre professor at the Navarro Villoslada Institute of Second Language in Pamplona.
The Euskera was heard at the gala in Pamplona, as well as messages of support for Palestine, and Gorka Urbizu and Aurora Beltrán, among others, sang on stage.
