The new work "Ikimilikiliklik Vol.2" will move in tension between "Everything is done" and "Everything is done"
Loraldia has presented its new production today, with Tuesday: Ikimilikiliklik Vol.2. Under the direction of Edurne Azkarate, the new creation aims to "revive" the avant-garde character of the sensitive Ikimilikiliklik created 50 years ago by Mikel Laboa, the brothers Artze and Jose Luis Zumeta.
The show, which combines music, poetry, dramaturgy and live audio-visual, has been directed by Azkarate, with the collaboration of Iñaki Salvador, pianist with long years of experience in the group of Mikel Laboa, who will be accompanied on stage by the group Oreka TX (Harkaitz Martinez de San Vicente and Itziar Navarro), the singer Libe Garcia de Kortazar, the actor Intza Alkain and the visual artist Itziar Garaluce.
"Far from nostalgia," the creators of the work explain that Ikimilikilikli comes to "respond" to the original Vol.2 show, not to "imitate" it: "He grabs the umbilical cord that binds the two times and tenses it, he examines the tension between what is left to be doneat that time and what is donenow. "
The prerelease of the work will take place in the performing arts center of Sarobe, in Urnieta, on November 12, and the great premiere on November 14 in Pamplona, in Baluarte. Later, the idea is for Ikimilikilikli to move Vol.2 through Euskal Herria.
