Journalist Maribel Vilaplana arrives in court to testify about her lunch with Mazon

Maribel Vilaplana, on October 29, 2024, the day of the floods that killed 229, the journalist who had lunch with the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, arrived at the Courts of Catarroja at 09:03, surrounded by a crowd of journalists and photographers.
The court arrived amid a wide security fence of the Civil Guard and a high public expectation, but made no statements to journalists.
Vilaplana has an appointment at 09:30 before the judge investigating the criminal case, as the Second Section of the Valencia High Court ruled, "to provide details or nuances that may be of interest to the investigation".
The journalist, who was with the President of the Generalitat at least until 6.45 p.m., will have to answer specifically for "the deliberative process followed on the afternoon of 29 October", which is the subject of a criminal investigation in the Catarroja court.
Vilaplana had to be treated in a hospital last Saturday for anxiety.
