The Basque Government calls for "common sense" in the face of Vox's "provocation." The Security Adviser, Bingen Zupiria, has called for "no one to fall" into the "provocation of a fortnight of people from an authoritarian party."
The rectoral team has decided to close the campus and suspend face-to-face classes because of the "risk" posed by this event, against which mobilizations have been called.
"I'm not going to help create controversy. It doesn't make much sense what's going on. It doesn't make much sense to me that a provocation from a fortnight of people in an authoritarian party has the answers we're seeing."
Zupiria hopes that society will be "sensible" so that "everyone can exercise their rights in full normality," and has therefore called for "no one to fall into this provocation." "Anyone can exercise their freedom of expression without harming anyone," he said.
