The Basque Parliament recalls the murdered socialists Fernando Buesa and Enrique Casas
Enrique Casas was murdered on 23 February 1984 by the Anti-Capitalist Autonomous Commandos and Fernando Buesa died with his bodyguard Jorge Díez in an attack by ETA on 22 February 2000. The Bureau of Parliament agreed in February 2014 to pay tribute to the four Basque parliamentarians murdered by terrorist organizations - Fernando Buesa, Enrique Casas, Gregorio Ordóñez and Santiago Brouard - at the nearest plenary session.

Relatives of socialist leader Fernando Mugica, murdered by ETA 30 years ago, as well as institutional representatives and members of the PSE-EE, have today paid tribute to him at the Polloe cemetery in San Sebastián. During the event, his son Rubén criticized Pedro Sánchez for "losing his memory" and "turning government action into a small market."

The Basque Parliament recalled with a minute's silence the former Member of Parliament and Councillor of the PP of San Sebastián Gregorio Ordóñez, murdered by ETA on 23 January 1995 in a bar in San Sebastián.
