Petronor called off the strike after the company refused to take legal action
The unions have called off the indefinite strike, in agreement with the management, after 83 days of unemployment.

However, the Department of Health has warned that these are levels considered safe for public health. The spill occurred on Friday and since then the company has been implementing strict safety measures to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
Petronor workers are still on strike and deny "war in the locker room"
This has been reported by representatives of the committee during the staff concentration convened by Kutxabank in front of its general offices in Bilbao. The workers have rejected the agreement and the case will be resolved in the courts.
The conflict in Petronor continues: workers have not accepted the agreement and remain on indefinite strike
Eighty percent of the workers voted against the pact reached between management and the union majority, so the so-called "locker room war" will be decided in court. Petronor has been standing still for a month and a half.
The judge cancels Petronor's trial and gives him a week to vote on the pre-agreement
The pre-agreement includes, among other things, "15 minutes of compensation." If that meeting has not been held before Monday, without the pre-agreement being voted on, the judge will finally decide.
Petronor and the unions face each other in court on charges of changing working conditions
The Bilbao Social Court is today holding the trial for the complaint filed by the Petronor trade unions against the company for a "substantial" change in working conditions, which has resulted in an indefinite strike. "The working day of the shift staff has been increased secretly (30 minutes more per day worked) as a result of the transfer of the locker room building," the unions denounce.

The unions that make up the works council (UGT, CCOO, TU and ELA) were also unanimous in support of the strike, which will begin at 6 p.m. this Thursday.

The project, which began construction in 2024, will become the first industrial plant in mainland Europe to manufacture synthetic arid, which captures CO2 both during the production process and during its useful life.
