Juan Carlos Elizalde recalled each of the five murdered by the police on March 3, 1976, during the homily of the Mass held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary.  The highest representative of the Church of Álava has stated that "we renew our closeness and prayer for the victims and for all those marked by these events".
