The Errenteria City Council has suspended a Public Offer of Employment of 25 places due to the application of the Euskera, which has been appealed. After submitting the call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa, he was appealed to the Administrative Litigation Section of the Court of Justice of Gipuzkoa for applying for the level of Euskera C1 in all positions.
In view of this situation, the Mayor of Errenteria, Aizpea Otaegi, has taken the decision to suspend the public offer and last Monday signed the decree suspending the proceedings, stating that the appeal and the resolution that may arise leave the candidates "in a situation of uncertainty".
The mayor says the responsibility of the city council is to ensure "the effectiveness of the procedure," which he believes cannot be ensured at the moment.
