The University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea has offered an unprecedented report on the notes obtained in the USaP following the controversy. The Minister of Education of the Basque Government, Begoña Pedrosa, has been to the Faktoria programme of Euskadi Irratia, where she has talked, among other things, about the results of the USaP. With regard to the Euskera exam, she has said that with regard to the Euskera exam in the USaP the note has dropped 0.5.
In fact, in the regular USaP call, based on provisional data, the average grade in Basque Language and Literature has been 6.34, above the provisional overall average (6.33). The results have been lower in other subjects: History, 6.10; Chemistry, 5.94; Mathematics, II, 5.08; Mathematics applied to the Social Sciences, 5.05; or Physics, 3.98.
Students who resorted to the Euskera exam note have enrolled in the university
Students who appealed to the courts for the qualifications obtained in the USaP Euskera exam have been able to enrol in the university. By court order, the UPV/EHU has had to accept applications for registration of these students, for which it has increased the number of places available in different grades.
