At 5 p.m. three columns will be launched from three different points of the city, each of which will carry a message: to demand the full officiality of the Basque language, to demand the need to make the leap in linguistic policies, and to emphasize the Basque language.

The General Secretary of the Basque PP, Esther Martinez, has announced that her party will ask for explanations for the number of zero in the Basque language exams in the USaP, most of which have been held by students from concerted schools, model A and some courts.

At the end of selectivity in Hego Euskal Herria, Iparralde started the lower test today. Seaska's first year students have carried out an act of disobedience and have officially conducted the math test in French in Basque.

The Presidents of the 115 Ikastolas of Euskal Herria have held a massive hearing this afternoon in Hernani (Gipuzkoa) to assess the issues that have arisen in recent times and to enhancethe value of the collective response given. The event was attended by  Oier Sanjurjo, President of the Federation of Ikastolas of Navarra, Erik Etxart , President of Seaska, and Nekane Artola.

They also point out that they will be 'strong and enthusiastic' in the face of recent obstacles in favour of 'an education in Basque'.

• The case of Lodosa: the attempt by the Government of Navarre to withdraw the Covenant on Early Childhood Education from the ikastola Ibaialde and the support of the region.

• The battle of the bass: the commitment shown by students and agents in the French Basque Country to be able to take the exams in Basque.

The lehendakari has advocated political stability and cooperation to move the Basque Country forward: it has called for the closure of outstanding transfers before July and has warned that alleged cases of corruption cannot be an excuse to stop governing.

EH Bildu's General Coordinator, Arnaldo Otegi, has said that they wanted to "buy time" so that they could continue to negotiate on the Euskera law. On corruption cases in Spain, he has said that "we must fight without hesitation", but, in his opinion, the operations basically respond to a political objective: "this PSOE" and destroy the left-wing alliance formed by Pedro Sánchez.

"The lack of agreement is not an option. Both the Basque Country and the Public Employment Act require broad agreements and consensus. It is time to take firm steps in the legal status of the Basque Country and move forward on equal rights," the coalition said.

In the run-up to the Euskaltzaleak March on Saturday in Pamplona/Iruña, the General Secretary of the Basque Cultural Council, Idurre Eskisabel, has been hopeful and has assured that the event is expected to be massive. In addition to demanding the involvement of the citizens, they will use the appointment to send a direct message to the authorities .

The general coordinator of the LAB union has criticized the CC.OO. union for its attitude towards the Euskera. In his opinion, this union has made a "big mistake", not only because it takes CC.OO away from ELA and LAB, but because it takes it away from the "Basque workers". 

The Iurretarra writer has opened the Continuous Reading of Classics organized by the Euskaltegi Bilbo Zaharra. This year the book of Txillardegi will be read "Leturia's Hidden Diary".  

That is why Seaska has cancelled the rally scheduled for 6 June in Bordeaux.

The President, Imanol Pradales, chaired this afternoon's meeting of the Advisory Council of the Basque Country, together with the Vice-President and Language and Policy Adviser, Ibone Bengoetxea first, who stressed that "the future of the Basque Country requires social cohesion, new alliances and broad consensus".

According to a manifesto released by a group of parents, the number of pre-enrollments allows the next course to have four model D classrooms in HH3: two in the ikastola Lizarra and two in the public school Remontival.

Unai Hualde, President of the Navarre Parliament of Geroa Bai  acknowledges that it has created a great deal of tension between PSN and Geroa Bai over the announcement by the Education Counsellor about the closure of classrooms, especially because it will weaken the ikastolas. Geroa Bai has asked the Socialist Party not to close classrooms and calmly reorganize the education system.

EH Bildu calls on the PNV to negotiate proposals for a public employment law on an equal footing, while jeltzales see both proposals as far apart in terms of content.
