A minor had to be taken to hospital yesterday, Sunday, after suffering a heat shock in the swimming pools of the El Fango sports centre in the Rekalde district of Bilbao, according to municipal sources.
According to these sources, the child lost consciousness and had to be revived by emergency services, who treated him wet but out of the water.
Other minors were also treated for heat blows, dizziness and anxiety attacks.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. and the pools were reopened at 7.30 p.m.
