Compared to the data of October 2024, however, unemployment in the Basque Country fell by 888 persons (0.82 per cent) and in Navarre by 1,129 persons (3.75 per cent), while from September to October membership increased by 1.32 per cent in the Basque Country and 0.89 per cent in Navarre.
Unemployment in Hego Euskal Herria has risen from September to October, with 640 more unemployed (0.60%) in the last month in the Basque Autonomous Community and 579 more in Navarre (2.04%), according to data released this Tuesday by the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.

In total, there are 107,609 unemployed registered at employment offices in the ACV and 28,959 in Navarre.
Unemploymentin the Spanish State has increased by 0.91%, with 22,101 people unemployed more than in the previous month. In the last year unemployment has fallen by 6.08%, compared to October last year, when the number of unemployed registered in the Spanish employment offices fell by 158,288.
Increase in Social Security membership
With regard to the month of September, the number of persons registered with Social Security in the Basque Country increased by 13,400 (1.32%), according to data disseminated today by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security of Spain, with a total of 1,031,670 members in the Basque Country.
Compared to October last year, the number of CAE members increased by 10,910 (1.07 per cent).
On the other hand, the Social Security ofNavarrehas won 2,789 members (0.89%), 4,408 more than in the same month of the previous year (1.41%), with a total of 317,152 people registered with Social Security in Navarre.
In Spainthere are an increase of 141,926 members (0.6%) and a total of 21,839,592 persons registered with Social Security.
