Euskal gizartearen hezkuntza mailak nabarmen egin du gora urteotan
Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoko gizarteak azken lau hamarkadetan izan duen aldaketa garrantzitsuenetako bat da biztanleen hezkuntza-mailak izan duen gorakada. Hala adierazten du egunotan EITB taldeko hedabideetan argitaratu den EITB Data azterlanak.
1989an, 10 urtetik gorako biztanleen erdiek, gehienez, lehen mailako ikasketak zituzten edo analfabetoak ziren. Urte hauetan, kopuru hori % 49,9tik % 13,9ra jaitsi da.
Gaur egun, talderik ugariena, prestakuntzari dagokionez, hirugarren mailako ikasketak (Lanbide Heziketako graduak edo unibertsitate-mailako ikasketak) dituztenak dira. Pertsona horiek gizartearen % 13,3 izatetik % 48,2 izatera igaro dira.
Hezkuntzaren arloko beste fenomeno nabarmenetako bat unibertsitatez kanpoko ikasleen beherakada izan da, haur eta gazteen artean biztanleria galtzearen ondorioz. Ikasleen ia heren bat galdu da, eta hezkuntza-maila guztietan izan da beherakada.
Hezkuntzako gastua, aldiz, bikoiztu egin da pertsonako, 162,9 eurokoa izatetik 304,6 eurokoa izatera igaro baita. Eusko Jaurlaritzaren gastu osoaren ia % 23 da.
