OTA Summer Service: These are the main changes in Bilbao, Donostia-San Sebastián, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Pamplona/Iruña
In Bilbao the service will be suspended on Saturdays and holidays and from August to afternoons. In Vitoria-Gasteiz you will not have to pay for parking between 4 and 31 August. On the contrary, in San Sebastian it will be extended to Saturdays afternoons and Sundays and holidays and in Pamplona it will have to be paid 24 hours a day for the duration of the sanfermines.
With the arrival of summer time, there are often changes in OTA services in towns and cities, including the four capitals of Hego Euskal Herria.
Here are the things to consider to be able to park in summer in Bilbao, San Sebastian, Vitoria and Pamplona.
BILBO
The OTA service in Bilbao will have summer time between July 1 and August 31, so there will be no service on Saturdays and in addition, in August, users will not have to pay to park their car in the afternoon.
On the 25th and 31st of July, and on the 15th and 22ndof August, being holidays, therewill be no OTA service all day.
The service will resume on 1 September at regular hours.
SAN SEBASTIAN
Summer time will apply from 1 June to 30 September.
In Gros (area delimited by Zurriola Avenue, Columbus Walk, Lapurdi Square, Ramón M. Lili Walk and Euskadi Square) there will be OTA service on Saturdays afternoons (from 16:30 to 21:00) and Sundays and holidays (from 11:00 to 18:00).
It will also be paid on weekends (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) in Antigua and Ondarreta, from 10:00 to 18:00.
