The 30-year-old man arrested in Bilbao for his alleged involvement in the violent murder of another man in April has been releasedwith precautionary measures, judicial sources have confirmed.
It was on 1 April that the family found the victim at his home in the capital city of Biscay. The forensic report stressed that he had indications compatible with violent death, and investigators from the outset found indications of the presence of other persons at the scene.
The Ertzaintza opened an investigation after locating the body and identified and arrested one of the alleged perpetrators, who was transferred to police stations to continue the investigation.
According to EITB, at the time of the death of the victim there was at least one other person in the house, which may also be related to the case.
The investigation is still open and further arrests are not ruled out in the coming days.
