The pharmacies of Bizkaia suman the program of detection situations of socio-sanitary problems
The College of Pharmacists of Bizkaia (COFBi) and the Association of Basque Municipalities (Eudel) have signed a convention for the promotion of a programme of detection from the Vizcaínos pharmacies of sociosanitary problems susceptible to being cared for by municipal social services, as well as cases of violence and loneliness.
This agreement is already in vigor in the territories of Álava and Gipuzkoa, and with it Bizkaia complements the network of collaboration between pharmacies and municipal social services for the coverage of the population of the CAV.
With this agreement, the coordination mechanisms between the network of community pharmacies and social services, as well as consensual guidelines and guidelines for intervention and improvement of cooperation between pharmacies and municipalities, have been reported by Eudel.
La red de farmacias comunitarias de Bizkaia está compuesta por 439 disposicientos, de los cuales 149 se encuentran en Bilbao.
Desde las farmacias se informará y animará a las personas a que acudan a los servicios sociales, o bien, contando siempre con la autorización previa de los usuarios, se solicitá cita o contactará directamente con estos servicios.

All the municipalities of Bizkaia count with a pharmacy, and this will serve radar to detect the socio-sanitary needs of our neighbours and neighbours."
