The Ertzaintza arrested a 40-year-old man in Irun on Saturday morning on charges of disclosure of secrets for recording users of a sports center in the Guipuzcoana city with a mobile phone while they were changing clothes.
According to the Department of Safety and Security, the events took place last Saturday morning in the women's locker room of the local sports facilities.
A woman changing her clothes noticed that a man was recording her with a mobile device to separate her from the men's and women's locker rooms from the top of the wall.
The man carrying the telephone had left the place when the woman noticed his presence. The victim informed the staff of the sports centre of the incident and managed to hold the suspect until a Ertzaintza patrol arrived.
The officers found that the suspect had deleted several images in the gallery of the device, but still had them in his cell phone bin, where other images showed another naked woman with a small baby in the same side room.
The suspect was arrested on charges of disclosure of secrets and transferred to police stations, and on Monday morning the detainee was placed at the disposal of the Irun Guard Court.
