Tour of the 24th edition of the Korrika
Thewitness of the 24th edition of the Korrika will travel 2,175 kilometers from Atharratze to Bilbao, in 11 days, hand in hand after making 3,436 changes. He will leave the town of Zuberoa on March 19 at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at the Arenal of Bilbao on March 29 at 12:04 p.m., all in order.
During this time, the runners will pass through 460 villages without stopping running and, as announced by the AEK, the possibility of access to miles will open on 1 February.
The second day, March 20, will enter Navarre, and for more than two days it will cross Navarre and eastern Álava and then enter Gipuzkoa at dusk on Monday, March 23.
On 24 and 25 March the Korrika will take place in the lands of Gipuzkoa and Lapurdi, to enter Bizkaia on Wednesday afternoon.
The day of March 26, the runners will say "see you later" to Bizkaia, after going in and out on Fridays in Álava and Gipuzkoa, to return to Bizkaia on Sunday and finish in Bilbao.
Capital cities
Leaving Atharratze, the Korrika will first visit Maule on March 19 at 16:45, and arrive in Donibane Garazi in the late hours of the next day (day 20 at 02:50).
He will arrive in Pamplona on Sunday, March 22, at 14:30, and from there he will travel to Baiona to play the Labour capital on March 24 (20:30). In San Sebastian he will travel on Wednesday, March 25, from 08:15, and on Friday, March 27, Vitoria will take over.
The last few meters will take place in Bilbao on March 29, entering the capital city at 07:20. As usual, there will be a big party in that city all day.
