A Biscayan woman died in a car accident in Lugo
Nine other people were injured in the accident this Friday, two of them seriously.
A 55-year-old woman from Bizkaia has died and nine others have been injured, two of them seriously, in a car accident in O Corgo, Lugo, in which three vehicles were involved , one of which allegedly overturned, according to an individual to 112 Galicia.
The accident occurred around 6 p.m. this Friday at Kilometre 7 of CG-2.2, off Ansean (O Corgo), in the direction of Monforte de Lemos.
Galicia 112 mobilized the Health Emergency Service 061, the Sarrià fire brigade and the Civil Traffic Guard. Upon arrival, health personnel confirmed the death of a woman and transferred nine injured persons, two of them seriously.
The Fire Department has specified that no special materials have been used, but that health personnel have been assisted in removing the dead woman from the vehicle.
In addition, emergency managers have reported what happened to road maintenance and disaster and emergency psychological care professionals.
