U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a trade agreement with Japan that includes 15% limit taxes on each other.
According to the Truth Social social network, this is a "huge deal, perhaps the largest ever reached." Trump has also advanced that Japan will invest $550 billion in the US.
The trade agreement will allow, according to Trump, the sale of U.S. cars, trucks, rice and agricultural products in Japan.
Hours earlier, theJapanese negotiator , Ryosei Akazawa , announced that he wants to reach an agreement withtheUnited States before 1 August .
Before the deal,Trump had threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Japanese imports.
