Actor Robert Duvall died at the age of 95
The famous actress of "Apocalypse Now" and "The Godfather" died on Sunday night in Virginia, as announced by her widow, Luciana Duvall, who was awarded the San Sebastian Festival Award in 2003.

Nominated seven times for the Oscars, he won the award in 1983 for his role as a former homeless country singer in Tender mercies . Duvall began his successful career on stage, continued on television and finally left a deep mark on cinema.
Robert Duvall was born on January 5, 1931 in San Diego and made his film debut in To Kill a Mockingbird (Robert Mulligan, 1962) while still working on television.
His father (Francis Ford Coppola, 1972) was first nominated for the Oscars by lawyer Tom Hagen for consigliereof the Corleons, and Father IIearned him international fame.
Ford met again at Coppola's Apocalypse Nowto play Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore.
In addition to the Oscar, Duvall collected a Bafta, four Golden Globes, two Emmy and an SAG Film Actors Union award.
In 2005, President George W. Bush awarded him the National Medal of the Arts at the White House.
