In 2026 the festival Koba Live N will not be held in Abadiño for economic reasons, as reported today by themusic association Sugaar, organizer of the initiative, in a statement in which they point out that the cuts in the subsidies received from the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia and the City Council of Abadiño have led to this decision.
Although last year's edition was "the first without economic loss", the restrictions on institutional aid make it impossible for them to guarantee the qualityand safety of the festival. "In view of this, we have preferred to take a step aside," the note explains.
In any case, it is not a final farewell: "This was not our intention, but we have no choice but to do so. If that means a farewell tothe final or until soon, time will tell, because the association does not rule out reorganizing Koba Live in the future. "
The organizers have appreciated the support received in recent years and the support of those who helped launch the project, "especially our Cave and Crew, without which Koba Live would never have been possible."
