Robe Iniesta, leader of Extremoduro, dies at 63
Robe Iniesta, one of the most important figures in Spanish rock in recent decades and a musician who has marked several generations, has died. The note released by his communications agency highlights his artistic contribution, his influence on state music and the literary depth of his compositions.
The artist (who had been living in Bizkaia for the last few years), who left the stage a year ago, cancelled his last concerts in Madrid due to health problems, then explained that he had been diagnosed with pulmonary thromboembolism , which forced him to rest.
Extremoduro was founded in the late 1980s and had a strong influence on state rock, making Iniesta a cultural reference.
