ABAO will offer nine jobs in its 75th season
The 75th season of the Bilbaine Association of Opera Friends will begin with "La Traviata" by Verdi on October 17; three years will also commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the association in 1953.

The Bilbao Association of Opera Friends ABAO will begin its 2026-2027 season on 17 October, the 75th in Bilbao, with the La Traviata opera by Giuseppe Verdi.
In addition to the season, they will begin to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Operatives in 1953. They will remember the anniversary of its founding for three years, until the end of the 2028-2029 season.
Thus, next season, ABAO will offer five operas of very different aesthetics showing "five ways to love": La Traviata, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Die Walküre, Roberto Devereux and Manon Lescaut.
In addition, ABAO Txiki's 22nd season presents four shows at the Arriaga Theatre, 15 performances in total.
