The President of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, will meet this Tuesday with former President Carles Puigdemont at the headquarters of the Catalan Government Delegation in Brussels.
The Government of the Generalitat announced the meeting on Monday in a statement, which will take place at 4.30 p.m.
The meeting will be the first to take place after Illa's appointment as President and will be held behind closed doors.

After meeting last year with Jordi Pujol, José Montilla, Artur Mas, Quim Torra and Pere Aragonés, Puigdemont is the only former president who has not met with the President of the Generalitat, Illa.
"It is time to do so. It is a constitutional amnesty. I would like this meeting to take place here, in the Sala de la Virgen de Montserrat, in the Palau de la Generalitat, and to have taken place several months ago. We will do so now and so," Illa said.
