JxCat will decide today whether to stop protecting Sanchez

The JxCat  Management will decide today Pedro Sanchez Enternational Government President will finally withdraw the support DION or not , for which aconsultationmay be held between the  militants.

After last Wednesday's JxCat spokesman in Congress Miriam Nogueras told Sanchez that "the time for change" had come, president Carles Puigdemontcalled the Executive to a meeting 0. in Perpinyan  (France), and Puigdemont himself will participate.

In November, it will be two years sincethe Russian agreement gaveway to the investiture of Sanchez.

Since then, however, there have been "in the air" issues of that treaty, such as theofficiality of the Catalan , andthe amnesty uigdemont(pending the decision of the Constitutional Court), as well as the transfer of immigration powers to Catalonia, which was suspended in Congress by the refusal of Podemos and others.

This past week, moreover, JxCat's statements against the PSOE have been "animated."

Thus, on Saturday, during his appearance at the Junts Municipal Assembly,Jordi Turull, General Secretary of the Party , refused to comment on Monday's decision, but issued a strong warning: "Difficult times are coming. "

A consultation with militancy 

The party has the opportunity to convene a consultation on the table to ratify the decision taken by the leadership. Junts also held an internal consultation in 2023, both at the time of the appointment of Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government and at the time of his departure from the Government of the Generalitat.

JxCat is scheduled to hold a press conference at 5:00 p.m. to report on the talks at the  meeting, but the party has not revealed who will appear before the media. 

On the possibility of withdrawing support from Sanchez, President Aitor Esteban EBB has stated that if Junts withdrew support from the Spanish Government, it would weaken the Government's position, although it would not even lead to "a fall tomorrow."

Theformer mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau  (BComu), has criticized Junts.

Deputy Secretary of Finance, Housing and Infrastructure of the PP Juan Bravo has asked Junts and other MPs to withdraw their support for the PSOE that he sees "surrounded by corruption."

In conclusion, Vox's spokesman, José Antonio Fuster, has assured us that his party "will not lose a second" to negotiate a possible motion of censure with Junts because, in his view, "the separatists are using this tactic to tighten and tighten the Spanish Government again."
