EH Bildu has asked the Public Prosecutor's Office to investigate the alleged crimes of the Mayor of Laguardia
The councilors of the abertzale coalition have explained that during this legislature some of the practices of the mayor and his government team "are outside the law and may be criminal." EH Bildu has focused on two behaviors he has described as "particularly serious."
The councillors of EH Bildu de Laguardia (Álava) have sent a letter to the Prosecutor's Office of the Territorial Court of Álava requesting that themayor jeltzale Raúl García investigate two alleged crimes .
The PNV has the Mayor's Office in Laguardia, with the intention of preventing thePPfrom taking over , thanks to the support of the nationalist coalition , which won the last municipal elections despite not obtaining an absolute majority.
In a letter published by diario.es, EH Bildu's councilors have explained that some of the Mayor's practices and his government team are "outside the law"and could be" criminal. "Specifically, they have highlighted two cases in which hasbeen described as "particularly serious" .
On the one hand, they believe that the Mayor has been participating on behalf of the City Council in the meetings of the Rioja Alavesa Rural Development Association, although the plenary has not appointed for this purpose.
On the other hand, EH Bildu councillors have claimed to have committed fraud in a contract, "taking advantage of the fact that the secretary was not there."
