The bus march in honor of Mikel Zabalza ends today in San Sebastian
The bus march in memory of Mikel Zabalza, a citizen of Orbaitzeta (Navarre) who was arrested, tortured and murdered 40 years ago by the Civil Guard, ends today in San Sebastian.
Zabalza was a public bus worker in San Sebastian, and on that basis the initiative began on 26 November, 40 years after the arrest of Zabalza by the Civil Guard.
Today, the anniversary of the discovery of Zabalza's body in the Bidasoa River will put an end to the initiative.
During the tour, the bus has been a travelling exhibition, with several stops to report the case.
"Mikel Zabalza 40 urte gogoan" continues to claim the memory of Zabalza and denounces the lack of clarification of the whole truth of the case.
