The president of the PP has explained of the judge of Catarroja that it was a "mistake" to say that he received timely information from the then head of the Valencian Government. Moreover, Feijóo has added that on 29 October 2024 he did not speak to Mazon until 19:59.
The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has told the judge of Catarroja, who investigates the management of the depression in the high area that shook the Valencian Community, that the then president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, did not give him "punctual" information about the tragedy and that it was "a mistake" to say so to journalists.
Feijóo testified this Friday by videoconference from the Congress of Deputies about the messages sent to President Mazon on 29 October 2024.
The president of the PP has begun to speak before the judge at 09:30. Previously, Ciudadanos has requested the withdrawal of Feijóo's statement today so that the leader would testify in person rather than by videoconference, which the judge has not accepted.
