With a view to the future, he explained that the road map was established: strengthening public services; transformative investments , preparing the Basque Country for the future; and strengthening it as a community to move forward as a people, three priorities that the Basque Government had highlighted.

The lehendakari wants to make his way "together with society" and has expressed his desire and need for "continuous collaboration", thanks to which "self-demand" can be fed every day. 

The Chief Executive of Vitoria-Gasteiz has also opted for  diplomacy in the face of the global clashes. He has called for "dialogue" and "diplomacy" to be replaced by weapons.

Having said that, he has said that he will continue to "stand firm on the path taken, without distractions."

According to the abertzale coalition, "this is a crucial moment to strengthen the Basque health service" and "turn the privatizing dynamic around." That is why EH Bildu has asked the Basque Government to be "firmly" involved, as well as the PNV and the PSE-EE.

Before attending the tribute to the Civil War soldiers and militia in Artxanda, the PNV has made a floral offering to the figure of lehendakari Aguirre in Bilbao, where BBB leader Iñigo Ansola has denounced the US attack on Iran.

The two Basque parties met this Wednesday in La Moncloa with the President of the Spanish Government on the occasion of the crisis opened by the Cerdán case. Both have asked Sanchez for democratic regeneration and responsibility, but with different nuances in tone and demands.

Aitor Esteban, president of the PNV EBB, believes that the PSOE should explain and show that only Santos Cerdán, José Luis Ábalos and Koldo García were involved in the corruption plot. He adds that we must also be attentive to what happens in the coming weeks and days.

On the other hand, the PP wants it to be this week. The Spanish Government has explained that 9 July is the first date on which Sanchez is free because he already has several international commitments on his agenda, namely the NATO summit on 24 and 25 June and the European Council on 26 and 27. 

ERC will also meet with Sanchez tomorrow within the calendar of meetings organized by the Spanish Government. We can not participate in the meetings. On the other hand, the Spanish Government has proposed that Sanchez appear in Congress on Cerdán, Leire and European issues on 9 July.

EBB President Pedro Sánchez has been "surprised" at the UCO's report on recordings to PSOE Secretary of Organization Santos Cerdán during his hearing, "almost turning it into a verdict."

The PP needs 176 votes in Congress to dismiss the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, by means of a motion of censure. The most viable or feasible options would be to get Junts or the support of the PNV with Vox. 

Several groups that supported Sanchez's investiture have also asked the PSOE for explanations.

He has expressed concern about the information published about Cerdán and has stressed that citizens are watching the government's explanations.

Coalición Canaria, for its part, has called for a State of the Nation Debate to be held to address the issue and has also stated that the search for culprits is the job of the judges.

Sumar , in coalition government with the PSOE, has also called for "transparency" from the PSOE in the face of "serious accusations" against Cerdán.

Opposition groups increase pressure on Sanchez

The PP spokesman in Congress, Miguel Tellado, has asked the coalition government to give explanations. He has gone further and wants resignations and early elections. "Today Pedro Sánchez has to appear, taking advantage of the fact that today he has to come to congress," he said in the halls of the congress.

Vox, for its part, has expressed its intention to initiate legal proceedings following the UCO report.

According to various media reports, on a recording obtained by the UCO unit of the Civil Guard, PSOE's Secretary of Organization, Santos Cerdán, is heard talking about the money owed to them by various companies, with former Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos and his former adviser, Koldo García.
