Pradales has asked the counselors to "keep risking" these times when "uncertainty is increasing."

"In 12 months the picture of the world has changed even more. And uncertainty, far from alleviating it, has increased considerably day by day. "Faced with this, the" only secret "of survival  is to" embrace the rules "and" boldly " " to be able to play "in this game."

This is the message sent today by the President, Imanol Pradales , at the meeting of the Governing Council, which, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the legislature, met today in Ajuria Enea and at the press conference to report on what has been said, Pradales took part to take stock of the media for a year.

He begins by recalling the time he took office and presided over the first Governing Council . He says that the statement he made then "has only been reinforced" over the past 12 months and has used the word "uncertainty" in more than one, because "in our time" is, in his own words, "the main feature".

That's why he's asked the counselors to "keep risking," and he thinks they're "on the right track," even though he admits there have been "mistakes."

It has highlighted initiatives in the areas of health, housing, education or employment, among others, and added that their aim is " to advance self-government ".

With a view to the future, he explained that the road map was established: strengthening public services; transformative investments , preparing the Basque Country for the future; and strengthening it as a community to move forward as a people, three priorities that the Basque Government had highlighted.

The lehendakari wants to make his way "together with society" and has expressed his desire and need for "continuous collaboration", thanks to which "self-demand" can be fed every day.

The Chief Executive of Vitoria-Gasteiz has also opted for  diplomacy in the face of the global clashes. He has called for "dialogue" and "diplomacy" to be replaced by weapons.

Having said that, he has said that he will continue to "stand firm on the path taken, without distractions."

EH Bildu and PNV have asked the PSOE for "transparency" pending the UCO report on Cerdán

Several groups that supported Sanchez's investiture have also asked the PSOE for explanations.

He has expressed concern about the information published about Cerdán and has stressed that citizens are watching the government's explanations.

Coalición Canaria, for its part, has called for a State of the Nation Debate to be held to address the issue and has also stated that the search for culprits is the job of the judges.

Sumar , in coalition government with the PSOE, has also called for "transparency" from the PSOE in the face of "serious accusations" against Cerdán.

Opposition groups increase pressure on Sanchez

The PP spokesman in Congress, Miguel Tellado, has asked the coalition government to give explanations. He has gone further and wants resignations and early elections. "Today Pedro Sánchez has to appear, taking advantage of the fact that today he has to come to congress," he said in the halls of the congress.

Vox, for its part, has expressed its intention to initiate legal proceedings following the UCO report.

According to various media reports, on a recording obtained by the UCO unit of the Civil Guard, PSOE's Secretary of Organization, Santos Cerdán, is heard talking about the money owed to them by various companies, with former Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos and his former adviser, Koldo García.

In total, the debt would be around EUR 400 000, according to the researchers, for charging commissions to construction companies in exchange for awarding public works.
