The mayor of Donostia-San Sebastián, Eneko Goia, has spoken in ETB2's "En Jake" program about the criticism that has been levelled in recent days between PSE and PNV leaders.

In an interview with Naiz Irratia, Arnaldo Otegi has said that there have been no interviews so far, but he hopes that his offer will receive a "positive response." "Unlike last year, there may be opportunities to do things differently. The invitation is on the table and the roads are open," he has reiterated.

In an interview with Euskadi Irratia, the Security Adviser of the Basque Government referred to the statements made in recent days by Eneko Andueza. The PSE-EE Secretary General warned that the coalition government Andueza has warned the PNV that the coalition government "may be in danger if it continues to seek identity agreements with EH Bildu."

The lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, highlighted the stability of the coalition government between the PNV and the PSE-EE during his speech at the New Economy Forum in Madrid.

Esteban has said that the recent statements by Andueza are "out of place" and create tension and mistrust. In view of this, he has pointed out that the Basque Government is working "well" and that in the field of the Basque Country, with regard to the demand for the Basque language in the OPEs, Esteban is convinced that there is a possibility of reaching "a grand bargain" with PSE-EE.

For EH Bildu's spokesman in the Basque Parliament, the institutional pact between the PNV and the PSE-EE "is unfounded; the fundamental debates are dominated by gaps."

According to the new section of EiTB Focus, things wouldn't change much in Álava if there were a general election, so the PSE-EE would remain the first party with one seat and EH Bildu and PNV would improve their voting percentage.

According to the EiTB Focus poll, only two of the leaders of the political parties represented in the Congress of Deputies are in a position to overcome, and Aitor Esteban (PNV) gets the best score: 6.8 out of 10.
