BEC will once again be filled with computers and computer enthusiasts from 24 to 27 July
The state's largest "work party" and one of the most important in Europe will host 4,000 computers and dozens of stands, bringing together 5,000 people who love new technologies, innovation and digital culture for four days.

Euskal Encounter, the largest 'work party' in the Spanish state and one of the most important in Europe, will once again fill the BEC of Barakaldo (Bizkaia) between 24 and 27 July. The appointment will bring togetherforfour days 5,000 people who love 4,000 computers, dozens of stands and computer science, new technologies, innovation and digital culture.
In its 33rd edition, the meeting will once again focus on the technological vanguard and social commitment, with an Internet connection of 60 Gbps offered by Euskaltel, as well as more than 200 activities that combine training, entertainment and networking.
In addition, theOpengune libre will host dozens of conferences, workshops and exhibitions based on 3D printing, video games, educational technology and solidarity initiatives, among others.
This yearwill focus on artificial intelligence and other topics such as programming,digital research and teaching tools, cyberviolence, the video game industry and cybersecurity.
The main organizer of the Euskal Encounter, Javier Gómez-Arrue, has explained that the meeting will aim to "form a community of people who think beyond the conventional, who know how to connect their data with the application of technology, knowledge creativity and social impact."
The person responsible for the event has highlighted the work of the organizers "so thatwe can continue to be more than 70 volunteers a day, a reference in professionalism and quality. "

Opengune will offer more than 50 training activities, including those organized by SPRI to promote the training of the business network on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity or video games.

Euskal Encounter 33 will once again offer its most emblematic sections, the real foundations of the event: digital creativity, hardware, free software, video games and the field of entertainment activities.
Participants will have the opportunity to test their talent in about 20 digital art competitionswhere the best graphic and audiovisual pieces from different disciplines will be awarded.
In addition, the event will feature more than 50 video game championships and special free software challenges, and programming and computer experts will conduct tests ranging from ethical hacking to cryptography, logic, puzzles and reverse engineering.
This section has been consolidated as a reference point for content creators and will be one of the most dynamic spaces of the event, giving visibility to a growing sector within the digital ecosystem.
