Euskal Encounter, the largest 'work party' in the Spanish state and one of the most important in Europe, will once again fill the BEC of Barakaldo (Bizkaia) between 24 and 27 July. The appointment will bring togetherforfour days 5,000 people who love 4,000 computers, dozens of stands and computer science, new technologies, innovation and digital culture.
In its 33rd edition, the meeting will once again focus on the technological vanguard and social commitment, with an Internet connection of 60 Gbps offered by Euskaltel, as well as more than 200 activities that combine training, entertainment and networking.
In addition, theOpengune libre will host dozens of conferences, workshops and exhibitions based on 3D printing, video games, educational technology and solidarity initiatives, among others.
This yearwill focus on artificial intelligence and other topics such as programming,digital research and teaching tools, cyberviolence, the video game industry and cybersecurity.
The main organizer of the Euskal Encounter, Javier Gómez-Arrue, has explained that the meeting will aim to "form a community of people who think beyond the conventional, who know how to connect their data with the application of technology, knowledge creativity and social impact."
