The Pamplona City Councilhas suspended the activities planned for this afternoon under the official Sanfermines programme, after the State Meteorology Agency (AEMET) has activated the orange rainfallalert, which will enter into force at 16:00 .
The decision will affect especially the children's, youth and family areas, whose activities take place from 18:00. The City Council has informed the groups and associations responsible for managing the sites where the activities were to be carried out, as well as the Runa Park fairgrounds, of the cancellation, so that they may take appropriate measures.
The inter-agency team set up to coordinate actions in the face of extreme weather events will meet again at 6 p.m. toassess the situation and decide on the development of the night activities planned for this holiday.
