The FBI, together with local police in Utah, has shown a video of the suspect shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk on the campus of the University of Utah.
The security cameras of a university parking camera show a man dressed in black coming down from the roof of one of the buildings on campus and then getting lost on a nearby highway.
The new images were shown by Utah Public Security Representative Beau Mason, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Utah Governor Spencer Cox during a 10-minute press conference at which the authorities declined to answer questions.
Investigators have conducted nearly 200 interviews as they work to get to the heart of Charlie Kirk's murder , Governor Cox said.
The authorities have stressed that 20 officers are working on the investigationand have recalled the importance of citizen cooperation, indicating that a reward of $100,000 is offered for information leading to the capture of the suspect.
Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, was taking part in an event organized by himself, where he was arguing with liberal students when he was shot. After the incident, his body was moved to Arizona on the plane of Vice President J.D. Vance.
