Accordingto the Bilbao City Council, the u00A0Bilbao BBK Live has leftinthe city this year more than 23.6 million euros , especially thehotel , comercio and the accommodation sectors.
Ofthe 115,000 participants , 17% were foreigners, mainly from the United Kingdom, France , Italy and Portugal ; 42% were Basques and the remaining 41% were from other Autonomous Communities, mainly the Communityof Madrid, Catalonia, the Valencian Community and Cantabria.
With regard to the age of the participants, the Bilbao City Council points out that the festival is aimed at all audiences of all ages . In this regard, young people between the ages of 18 and 30 have been 43% and last year 28%. 31% of the attendees have been between the ages of 31 and 40, 18% between the ages of 41 and 50 and 8% over the age of 50.
Nearly 3,500 professionals have participatedin the organization, including logistic, supply, services, lighting, sound, audio-visual, security and catering, and hotel occupancy has exceeded 90% during the three days of the music festival.
