According to a resolution published this Thursday by the Official Gazette of Spain, the declaration of public utility has been granted to the wind farm in Labraza (Oyón, Álava) and the evacuation infrastructure associated with it (energy transport ).
Iberdrola has reported in a statement that this procedure recognizes the general interest of the project and will speed up the procedures necessary for the implementation of the wind farm.
It is an initiative promoted by the company created by Aixeindarrak, Iberdrola and the Basque Energy Organization, which will install eight 200 metre wind turbines (a total of 40 megawatts). Guztira, with an investment of 49 million euros.
The Labraza wind farm will produce an annual amount of A099,679 megawatt-hours, sufficient to supply 29,951 homes.
